Hi,

I've been considering for a long time the true location of mount Sinai and
today in my random readings came across Deuteronomy 33:1

Jehovah—from Si´nai he came,
And he flashed forth from Se´ir upon them.
He beamed forth from the mountainous region of Pa´ran,

I find this verse problematic because Paran we have etymological basis for
associating with Wadi Feran while Seir we associate with Edom. Any ideas?

James Christian
