has been upgraded and dated 27 Oct 2009.
Tigran Aivasian and Vladimir Volovich have pointed out that the
consonants with 'F' and 'M' notes are not what the notes indicate. For
example, the mem in the first word of Isaiah 9:6 was marked with an 'F'
note, yet the mem was not a mem sofit. Similarly, in Job 38:1 and 40:6,
the words marked with the 'M' note ended in nun sofit rather than plain
nun. These errors have been repaired both in the XML text and in the
display.
*** Readers should note that the revised XML text, as well as the
Leningrad Codex itself, does NOT follow the usual Hebrew orthography
about sofit consonants. All three exceptions to the usual orthography
appear in ketiv sections. ***
Although only 3 Unicode characters have been changed, the software
modifications have been extensive and include re-working both the
transcription program, WLC2XML, and the text display XSL file,
Text.xsl.xml. Please report any anomalies so they can be repaired quickly.
