Hi all,
In English we make great use of context to parse noun phrases as vocatives.
In languages like Greek the job is easier because of morphs which give away
declensions of noun phrases. Hebrew also lacks declensions. So, how do we
parse a vocative in b-hebrew. Can anybody think of a set of clear examples
of vocatives in b-hebrew? What are the tell tale signs that help us make the
distinction?
