Jim,
The problem with the way that you approach us is that you assume we never
look at primary resources since we have posted you secondary sources; and if
we happen to be in a hurry and post you a book reference, you assume we have
told you to "go away and read." I never said those words, and I'm not
pleased with your putting them in my mouth. It is not constructive for
discussion. Perhaps you might ask me to explain why I thought that book
might be a useful reference, in which case I would have expanded on it when
I had time. You seem to have time in abuncance to post and argue. I have
snippets of time to post occasionally. Discussion can still happen, but you
must be patient. I recall you asking someone else to "calm down" yesterday.
Try it out yourself. You might find that some of us are reasonable people
and use our time doing research, reading both primary and secondary sources.
