I don't think this discovery is going to push the dates for the Iron Age
back. There were many iron objects manufactured before the Iron Age. The Iron
Age is simply the era in which the knowledge of iron working was refined (it
was significantly improved) and disseminated such that it became a
commonplace commodity.
