No, I have no theological interest in the Bible although you feel the need to
saddle me with one you justify your own.

Thanks for your honesty.
On the other hand, why can't you see what is widely recognized, namely that
secular humanism is itself a theology? Is it this blindness that causes to
make what many recognize as illogical statements? And while this theology
predisposes you to discount historical records because they don't fit your
à
priori faith, do you not see how your faith is guiding your understanding
and actions?

I have no theology. I am an objective scholar with no attachment to any
institution. You are beating a dead horse.

What an illogical idea!
But now I found out (thanks to a later message) why you can't follow the
same rules of historical research on the Bible as you would, for instance,
on Thucidites' Peloponesian Wars. It would go against your theology.

Steve,

HH: The phrase can be used in different ways, such as the
absolute/construct word pair relationship. But the way I am used to it
is with refference to Hebrew parallelism, where two nouns often occur
together as synonyms or a related pair. The example below mentions
"silver" and "gold." "Wise" and "understanding" are a frequent
collocation. There are many.
