By saying he was a mighty hunter before God says he was not in line with God's first intention Gen 1:29. Nor when Noah offered his sacrifice Genesis 8:21 The LORD smelled the soothing aroma; and the LORD said to Himself, "I will never again curse the ground on account of man, for the intent of man's heart is evil from his youth; and I will never again destroy every living thing, as I have done.
The evil in the heart of man is according to to old test. prophets is God does not want sacrifice of animals, that does not take away sin. But rather a new heart in line with Gods' thinking.
contrast to Isaiah 11:6 And the wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
Again no hunting or death in the beginning of the new age.
Even when Isreal was led by God, manna was given.
In view of this I cannot understand why you would think that Nimrod was a good (tob)man. God said in the beginning that it was good (tob) before death. So in light of this Nimrod would be a bad person.
