Sorry, I have one more wild guess about Ecclesiastes 7:7-8. Maybe it says
"because a gain of extortion will make a wise man foolish, and will perish
with a heart of a dying man (mem tav) (?) a lament (nun hay), better is the
end of a thing than its beginning." Maybe the end was better than the
beginning because in the end a man suffered and died for the bad thing that
he did in the beginning which was take something by extortion.
