I don't know of an online translation of Judith into Hebrew. The two printed
translations that I know of (I'm sure that there are others) are by M.
Simon, in the second volume of the Hebrew Apocrypha edited by A. Kahana from
1956 and that of Y.M. Grintz from 1957. But why read a translation into
Hebrew, and not into your own language?
I do not know whether these are appropriate questions for this list.
1. Does anyone know where the Hebrew text of the book of Judith --not
found
in the Hebrew canon-- is available, either online or in printed form?
Logically, this is for the case that such Hebrew text exists or has been
preserved; otherwise... no question.
2. Does anyone know why, for which reasons, the book of Judith was not
included in the Jewish canon?
