Howdy Dave,

My source for the meaning of Leviathan (one who dwell among the sea of
humanity) was posted earlier. I case you missed it:
The late Louis Gensburg, past president of the NY Jewish Theological
Seminary, and author, "LEGENDS OF THE BIBLE." There were six volumes, all
but this
volume was in German.

I don't know if its Hebrew or not. Holman's Bible Dictionary say it means
"coiled."
