One electronic version of the Leningrad Codex (LC), the Westminster
Leningrad Codex(WLC), is maintained by the Westminster Hebrew Institute.
The WLC is a descendant of the Michigan-Claremont transcription and a
source for many electronic and paper versions.
A transcription of the WLC to Unicode/XML is available on the web at:
It requires a modern browser, such as the free Firefox 1.5+ browser, and
installation of the free SBL Hebrew font. Windows users may need to
install an additional free module to obtain good rendering. See the
