Those who are interested in diachronic devcelopment of BH style may wish
to consult the works of Avi Hurvitz (no rellation), and - on the other side
of the argument - the position of Ian Young.
My view, very briefly, is that there are defenitely diachronic markers in
the language ranging from ancient poetry, through SBH to Late Biblical Hebrew
such as Qohelet.
Since late editors did a thorough job with most of the preserved MT texts,
too much refinement is impossible.
