The strongest argument for the trisyllabic pronunciation
of the Divine Name comes from another source.
I would not be surprised if the Name was originally
pronounced as "Ya-HoW-He" with the waw as a matere
lectiones in keeping with the cv pattern of Hebrew
syllables. But without access to native speakers, all of
this is mere guessing.
