Really...to analyze grammar based on the way something looks on the
page? I honestly have never heard of such a thing.
Read some Wm. Faulkner sometime. The subject and verb of a clause may
be separated by a hundred words, a dozen commas, and a few semi-colons
and dashes thrown in for good measure.
