Assuming that the facts stated in this report, as well as in the Ynet report
already posted, are accurate, the discovery of Judahite LMLK seals, usually
associated with Hezekiah's rebellion against Sennacherib, is interesting in
a site so far north. Could Hezekiah have sent supplies to Tyre, also in
rebellion?

Another simpler possibility is that the jar was brought north by a traveller
or a merchant.
This, assuming as you say that the press report is accurate.

I don't know about the seal, but the jar handles name Zif and=20
Hebron, both known places from Judea. The beautifully preserved
seal is one thing. The jar handles are more puzzling, I think. And if
this is an intermediary report of ongoing excavations, who knows
what else they will find there? It is also nice to have such a clear=20
photo of the seal/signet, better than some pictures in published=20
reports (which are usually only black/white).
