There is an additional issue of mail servers and rely servers. A test
of Unicode transmission was recently done on the b-greek list from this
same service. A number of subscribers had all the necessary fonts,
software and OS for Unicode but STILL could not see the Greek Characters.
An examination of the messages invovled showed that mail servers on
route to those subscribers were converting the unicode during transmission.
Technology is such fun.
