Chris:
In the March 2004 issue of the Journal of the
Evangelical Theological Society ther was an article by
Rodger C. Young entitled "When Did Jerusalem Fall?" in
which he shows that the biblical evidence of Jeremiah,
Ezekiel and 2 Kings is consisent with a dating of "the
fourth month (Tammuz) of 587." Tammuz falls in our
months of June/July. The Temple was destroyed on the
ninth day of the month Ab, which is is the Julian date
of July 29, 587 B. C.
