dear friends,
i have posted a more biblical-scholars-friendly version of the pentameter
study of Jonah 2. i was surprised that i didn't need more than four
simple principles: hierarchy and dichotomy, asymmetry and cadence.
i'm especially keen for feedback, since this pilot study is the basis for
a monographic study of hebrew meter in lamentations and the psalms.
shalom,
V
