then whats sheol about? how does saul summon the spirit of samuel after the
latter's death? i can see how one could argue (though not really
persuasively) that the HB has no concept of *resurrection*- but what is one
to make of the many passages re: sheol if there is no life there (even in a
shadowy ethereal form)?
