the dissertation by Donald R Vance is now published as "The Question of
Meter in Biblical Hebrew Poetry" (2001). if anything, we should be
grateful for the bibliography. his statistical (dis)proof is like what was
described in Ehlen's dissertation. (but that Harvard 1970 th.d.: wow,
that's pretty obscure. thanks for the tip.....)
Mellen press, as a vanity press, might be the reason for lack of
reviews.... maybe i'll post something on the internet if i don't see
anything....
