Yes, yaHsheveha is perfective.
...veheemin is imperfective and vayyaHsheveha perfective. These are not
often pointed out or discussed in commentaries, unfortunately, because Gn
15.6 is quite important and the verb tenses quite helpful in overall
understanding.
