According to Aage Bentzen (Introduction to the Old Testament, Copenhagen
1967, vol. II, p. 10), he was "possibly Isaac of Toledo (982-1167)".
Bentzen relies on R. H. Pfeiffer (Introduction to the Old Testament, New
York 1948, p. 135).
