I ran across this quote apparently from the Mishnah. It was cited from M.
Aboth 1.5, "he that talks much with womankind brings evil upon himself and
neglects the study of the Law and at the last will inherit Gehenna." Is
this an accurate translation? Was the concept of Gehenna as a punishment
prevalent among the first century rabbis?
