Subject: early reading of YHWH?
Date: Wed, 8 Sep 1999 20:47:48 -0400 (EDT)
i've two exceptions in a certain database that i can't make sense of,
both with YHWH.... ie, i can't make sense of them reading 'adonay, but
i just might be able to make sense of them reading yah(u). if so, that
would mean the pausal reading was set before they starting reading
adonay for the divine name. (actually maybe three exceptions.)
any comments?
