I'm a 2nd-year Hebrew student whose class used Waltke & O'Connor last
semester. Particularly helpful was a condensation of the text done by my
instructor, Dr. R. Bruce Compton at Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary
(www.dbts.edu). His notes provided a condensation which simplified the
process of weeding through categories in making analyses. Another great NEW
resource that condenses the basics of W & O's Grammar even more is a book by
Robert B. Chisholm, Jr., entitled From Exegesis to Exposition. A portion of
that book is devoted to grammar and syntax with specific reference to W & O.
