bryan,
I have a fantasy about supervising or otherwise assisting in a
dissertation that produces a sound typology of psalms based on formal
linguistic and textgrammatical criteria. such a project could only
complement the kind of work you do.
a related project would be the leveraging of a poetic meter based on my
current work in prosody, and the creating of a typology on that basis
and then comparing the two to see what the intersection of the sets
looks like.
who knows, some day. ;-)

...the idea of a perfect language risks becoming nothing more than a
waste bin for prejudices which have not survived confrontation with
linguistic reality.
