My understanding is the word 'ken' means yes. 'lo' means no.
I do not see this word in Ex 7:22 from my online version, but don't have my
text here.

Could anyone provide me with the following information:
a) the meaning and root of the hebrew word 'ken'
b) whether the context of Exodus 7:20,21can materially affect the meaning of
the word ken as used in 7:22.
To explain b) a little more clearer.
In 7:20,21 Moses/Aaron change all the water previously mentioned in vs 17-19
to
blood. Verse 22 states that the magicians 'did so (ken) with their
enchantments'.
I can't see how the magicians could have done so to the same extent as
Moses/Aaron since most of the water in Egypt had been turned to blood, hence
consider that there is a textual restriction on ken being understood as did
the
same in nature and to the same extent.
Is this a valid understanding of the hebrew word 'ken' in its context?
Thanks
