Remember when Jodeci was the shit? Like you couldn't turn on the radio without hearing K-Ci hit a rift? When it was cool for dudes to rock overalls with one strap undone? When every other chick wanted the "Halle Berry" cut? Return to the age of New Jack Swing and R&B Boy Bands on the Thursday Night Feature. Tune in at 9pm on Thursday and reminisce and/or get some edutainment for the times when Eight Ball jackets, Cross Colors and Karl Kani made up the 'fits of choice.

What's cooking on The Backyard Barbecue? How about an interview with Chapel Hill band Bellafea? You will listen and you will like it. Sunday at 8pm.

Also, on Monday and Friday at 9pm for the Inside Track, where a new record is played in it's entirety. On Friday, we have a new compilation of guitar music out by the good folks at the Numero Group, Wayfaring Strangers: Guitar Soli. Then on Monday we have Black Stars: Ghana's Hiplife Generation, which is exactly what it sounds like and just as good, if not better.

For a little extra fun, tune in Wednesday at 9pm for the New Music Show, where newly anointed Music Director Jon P., talks about some of the great new music he's been getting in the mail. Then he plays it. Then you say, "Wow, Jon! Thanks!" Then he will say "You're welcome, dear listener."
