COVER SONGS on the Thursday Night Feature, Thursday 9 p.m. to midnight
Tune as we present a show detailing the histories of cover songs, including their inspiration.

VENETIAN SNARES- MEATHOLE (PLANET MU) on the Inside Track, Wednesday 9 p.m.
Canadian breakcore producer Aaron Funk, aka Venetian Snares, offers up his 2nd full-length of 2005, a frantic journey through the ultra-hyper mind of Mr Funk, served up of course at 200bpm.

HOBART SMITH- IN SACRED TRUST: THE 1963 FLEMING BROWN TAPES (SMITHSONIAN FOLKWAYS) on the Inside Track, Friday 9 p.m.
In October of 1963 renowned banjo, fiddle, piano and guitar player Hobart Smith left his home in rural Kentucky to spend a few days with ethnomusicologist and banjo player Fleming Brown, just talking and playing water he wanted. The result is over an hour of covers and originals, played on all the above-mentioned instruments, a true testament to Smith's versatility and skill.

GEORGE JONES on Hell or High Water, Sunday 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
There is nothing in the world that is sadder than a George Jones country tune. This week on Hell or High Water bring your heartaches and hangovers and tune in to hear the saddest Jones' tunes done right by the man himself.

PAUL DOLDEN- DELIRES DE PLAISIRS (LES EMPREINTES DIGITALES) on Broken Music, Sunday 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Vancouver avant-garde intellectual Paul Dolden is one of the cream of the crop of fin de sicle tape musicians/electro-acoustic composers, and here he offers up his fourth full-length, which has a picture of him flying on a motorcycle on the cover! Yeah who knows, but you can expect anything from this dynamic sound manipulator...
