NEW ORLEANS' FUNKIEST DELICACIES on the Inside Track, Friday, 9 p.m.

FFA COFFI PAWB - FFA COFFI PAWB AM BYTH on the Inside Track, Wednesday, 9 p.m.
Tune in and hear the sounds that created some of the most popular Welsh indie-rock groups of the 90s... before their members formed such seminal acts as Gorky's Zygotic Mycni and the Super Furry Animals. FFA Coffi Pawb played a dazed noise pop that was years ahead of its time, and Placid Casual records has put a killer compilation of their best cuts from 1986 to 1992.

GENDER-TWISTING, SMOKES, & SKIRTS on the Thursday Night Feature, Thursday, 9 p.m. to midnight
We'll explore the heydays of Paris and Berlin cabarets.

NEW ORLEANS' FUNKIEST DELICACIES on the Inside Track, Friday, 9 p.m.
After releasing an awesome compilation of Eddie Bo's best work a few years back, Funky Delicacies returns with a solid set of rare and unreleased New Orleans deep funk that doesn't contain the most hi-fi recordings, but still manages to smoke. A must listen for fans of the Neville Brothers, Eddie Bo, and Soul Jazz Records' New Orleans Funk Series.

GIRLS OF THE GOLDEN WEST on Hell or High Water, Sunday, 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
This week, we will feature the music of the Girls of the Golden West, a duo of sisters from Mount Carmel, Illinois, who came to the forefront of country & western music in the 1930s and 40s. They brought their ultra-close harmonies and well-known songs to the biggest radio programs of the day, including National Barn Dance on WLS in Chicago, and performed throughout the U.S. until the 1967 death of Dolly, the youngest sister.

OUTHUD - LET US NEVER SPEAK AGAIN on the Inside Track, Monday, 9 p.m.
Bay Area disco dubbers Out Hud return with a strong sophomore debut, again on Chicago's Kranky Records, which makes them the most danceable group on that label. Less rock-oriented and venturing further towards ESG-ish electro post-punk, Outhud offers 10 tracks of awesome instrumental mayhem. Their last release, 2002's S.T.R.E.E.T. D.A.D. was met with uniformly positive reviews, and this 2nd release promises to be just as enjoyable.
