WXYC 89.3 FM - in Chapel Hill and live on the Web at www.wxyc.org

Schedule in brief, scroll down for details:
Thursday 9 p.m.-12 a.m.: Three hours of revolution rock with THE CLASH on
the Thursday Night Feature
Sunday 1-2 p.m.: folk artist REV. HOWARD FINSTER on Hell or High Water

THURSDAY NIGHT FEATURE, Thursday 9 p.m.-12 a.m.
This week's TNF features the music of The Clash -- live and in-studio,
including post-Clash Projects (B.A.D., Havana 3AM, Joe Strummer) and even
some exotic covers. Three hours of revolution rock!

HELL OR HIGH WATER, Sunday 1-2 p.m.
Hell or Highwater pays tribute to folk artist Rev. Howard Finster, who died
this week at the age of 84. We'll listen to songs and stories from Howard's
Folkways release "Man of Many Voices," and a mix of traditional and
contemporary music from Northern Georgia.

NORTHERN HEMISPHERE LIVE, Sunday 5-7 p.m.
This Sunday NHL will feature the monthly installment from Bill and
Todd. No guests are scheduled, just open, freewheeling conversation and
batting around of issues, complaints, and improbable stories from the news
-- plus active audience participation through phone calls about anything
that happens to be on your mind.

Also this week and every week:
-THE INSIDE TRACK: a new release played in full Monday, Wednesday and
Friday, 9 p.m.
-ORANGE COUNTY SPECIAL: folk music of all countries and cultures Sunday 10
a.m.-1 p.m
-HELL OR HIGH WATER: music from UNC's Southern Folklife Collection Sunday
