Una,
"Troublesome Weeds of New Mexico"
It is published by NM State College of Agriculture and Home Economics. I
don't know who
we ordered it through, but I would guess the SU is a good start. Great
pocket size book
perfect for the trail. It does not, however, list specifically which are
noxious to horses.
It does have a preface with some weeds/trees bolded in red or yellow. There
is no key
listed, so I can only assume it means dangerous and or cautionary.
My 2006 copy does not have an IBN #

I am working up a list of noxious and/or invasive weeds that are of special
interest to equestrian trail riders in New Mexico. That includes weeds that
have potential to harm horses and are common in New Mexico; and weeds that
are eaten readily by horses so may be dispersed via manure.

Do you know of such a list or lists?
