my thoughts were that there would be some sort of generic routine. Then the
suggested manditory/optional patch routines would just be thin frontends. At
the
same time the various patching engine styles would build on it as well. Where
that code lives would be some combination of sorcery and grimoire. The
remaining
question is how the data gets stored. Now that we have DOWNLOAD files though,
the sorcery api can get prototyped at the grimoire level.
