Fixed now. The problem was basically that gitweb hasn't been updated in a long buggery time, and perl was newer than it could tolerate on the new box. An update to that, and it's all better now.

it might not be the long term thing, especially if we end up on the gitlab, as that provides a pretty nice "scmweb".
