gases. In addition to nonspecific symptoms of mucous
membrane irritation, farm workers can develop occupational
asthma or bronchitis, organic toxic dust syndrome,
hypersensitivity pneumonitis, silo
filler's disease (toxic hemorrhagic pulmonary edema), and
neuromuscular respiratory failure.
