G'day,
Greetings from Sri Lanka where we find ourselves assessing existing
USDA/World Vision Australia/Lanka front line Permaculture development work
and also completing a Permaculture-based inter-agency strategy for Sri Lanka
and doing management/field staff training as well. These development
projects are quite remarkable expressions of the capacity of over 7000
households' facing the dual scourges of tsunami and very recently completed
(!?!) conflict to develop basic food, water & energy security through the
application of Permaculture training & techniques....

I read with interest Antonio Scotti's EOI of the Mallorca PDC during July
which we are all looking forward to. Upon reading the final credentials I
feel it necessary to make a clarification: regarding my teaching an annual
course with our good friend David Holmgren; we have not done this for a few
years now, and so this should be disregarded as up to date information. This
information is from an old brochure. I should have vetted the promotion more
carefully so apologies for making this claim.

All the best,

Darren J. Doherty
