Presents:

“Learn Permaculture Design
For Your Own Urban Organic Property”

This is a three-day workshop for people on smaller properties or small
holdings, who want to create a beautiful, ecologically balanced landscape
and an abundance of organic food.

Participants will learn to integrate the following into a typical
urban/suburban-sized section or a small holding:

• Productive organic veggie gardens
• Fruit trees, herbs and flowers
• Wildlife habitats
• Kitchen micro-gardens
• Children’s play spaces
• Use of micro-climate
• Quite areas for reflection and recharging
• Integrated small animal systems


A fun and interactive workshop where participants will explore:

• Permaculture principles
• Permaculture design tools & strategies
• Accessing local resources
• Organic approach
• Neighborhood community building

An urban-scale permaculture workshop can be integral in building
neighborhood community, giving the opportunity for people to meet and
share local knowledge, experience and resources.

Where: Ecointegrity Center of Bellingham @ 1515 I Street

When: May 1st, 2nd, & 8th / from 9:00am to 5:00pm

How Much: $150 per person, $125 Registration within one week prior to
workshop, $100 pre-registration before April 23rd (some intern
scholarships and partial work-trade available)………….Student rate: $90
