Since Absalom, Absalom is my favorite Faulkner novel, I had no real complaints (even if AKM is the one I keep coming back to).  I certainly agree, David, with the dread followed by relief regarding Huck Finn.  Just because Hemingway thought it was the greatest doesn't mean the rest of us have to keep drinking that kool-aid.  I would've liked to have seen A Confederacy of Dunces moved up, by the way. I forgot to mention that last night.
