The problem I ran into is that the coils are fairly far apart and the cells on top of, or right next to, the coils germinated first. So I kept rotating them to spread the heat around. It was better than no bottom heat.

I'm curious if anyone on the list has used an electric blanket for applying bottom heat to propagation trays. Can they be fully protected from water while being used for this purpose? Anyone care to share their experiences on this? Thanks.
