Someone described using tubing between the mainline and the drip tape, and I really like that idea.  But, what size tubing or what driptape couplings were you using?   I have some .25 inch DTF250BV and .42 in DTFP6A couplers.  What type tubing – UV resistant I assume? But what does the size difference need to be to hold and not leak? Any tricks?

Thank you.

What I use between 2" layflat and drip tape is 1 1/2" bluestripe, which I think is not what you mean by tubing. I did use to use something smaller years ago, when I was using a hose connection instead of irrigating from the pond, but don't remember specifics.
