I tried to search the Market Farming Shop Talk website that goes with this list for old threads about walk-behind tractors (BCS, Grillo, etc) but I got no results.  Surely that topic must have come up on this list, right?

I'm almost certain I'll be buying from Joel at EarthToolsbcs.com.  If his expertise was not obvious enough based on his website, then the glowing reviews found from all corners of the internet would enough to convince me to buy from him.

I'm pretty I'll be going with the Grillo 107D with a Berta rotary plow.  I'm very curious to know what others think about using the rotary plow for market gardens. It looks outstanding for breaking sod, plowing in cover crops, raising beds, and digging trenches for pipelines.  But is it too much tillage to use for routine tillage/bed shaping in a garden? Is it any good at all for weed cultivation (I doubt it). What exactly is the minimum depth setting for that rotary plow?

Thanks for any input. If someone could could explain how to better find old topics on by searching that would be appreciated too.
