Deb,

I am a big advocate of inter-city gardening projects and went to your web-site to sign the petition. However, after reading the Privacy position listed on your site, I will not sign. I don’t care to receive correspondence from you or your advertisers and this appears possible/probable. I had hoped to find language indicting that my address would only be used for possible verification of my signature and for know other purposes; period.

Good luck and sorry I can’t be of help.

Breck

Deb, your petition “here” link did not work. Maybe you can resend without the shortcut; actual link.

Hi Market Farmers.

Please consider helping your urban growing brethren.

Warmly,

Deb

Sign the Petition to Save Brooklyn Rescue Mission’s Farm!

In 2005, emergency food provider Brooklyn Rescue Mission partnered with local organizations to20create an urban farm. They turned a vacant lot into an edible Eden that provides freshly grown food to thousands of needy Brooklynites. But the Brooklyn Rescue Mission, an emergency food pantry in Bedford-Stuyvesant, could lose half of Bed-Stuy Farm - its 5,000-square-foot facility on a long-neglected lot - if plans go through to build on it.

For more information, click here. They have an online petition here.
