Yellow Striped Cucumber Beetle is a difficult pest. The only pesticides that work on it, to my knowledge, are not organic. A different strategy that can delay infestation though is to put spun-bonded row covers over the crop after planting. They can remain until flowering, when bees need to work on pollination. this works well for summer squash, cucumbers and melons.
 
I would have liked to see the attra publication. They are usually very good. But the link did not work. Perhaps Steve Diver could comment on controlling the beetle.

     In the past week my squash has gone from looking great to looking like lace. I must have 50 yellow striped cucumber beetles on each plant. Can anyone tell me how you control these pest?
