In the grocery stores white conventional eggs are between 79ยข and $1.29 (occasionally they get cheaper but than they become a loss leader and are not making the store any money but are there to lure customer in). Cage free are a buck higher and organic are between $2.79 and $3.29 at Wal-mart. The one health food store in my very rural town has pastured eggs for $2.59. other health food stores in less rural areas range from $3.00 to $3.75 a dozen. At the farmers' market in Oxford, OH Certified organic (cage free but not pastured) are $2.50 and pastured fed organic feed are $3.00. This is in the greater Dayton/Cincinnati area
