About the weather. We have had freezes on and off all the last week. Lost alot of things but still have alot too something to be thankful for. By the way in 1857 in Ohio at least I think that was the yr. it froze all the corn in July. I used to read old Quaker letters from that era and a man wrote to his children that in South East Ohio it had frozen the corn. So the records that exist sometimes are in journals and letters. Good way for us to remember how important that garden journal really is. Now if I could just remember it before I am 1000 ft. from the house and in the garden! Happy growing everyone!!!!!!!! God is in control so if you don't like it maybe you should think about what he could be sending you!!!???? Blessings

A lesson I learned the hard way about phosphate rock. When I farmed on
the silt loam limestone soils of eastern PA soil tests always came back
at 30lbs/a P. When I added P rock, it became tied up in the clay and
rendered useless in just a month or so. Decayed covercrops chelates some
but never enough so I switched to banding triple super phosphate and it
remained soluble long enough to make a crop. Know your soil chemistry
before spending a ton of money on P rock. . Bob.

That saying is more common than you think...

When I first moved to Idaho, I heard "If you don't like the weather,
just wait a minute"
Then in Oregon, I heard "You know Oregon weather, If you don't like it,
just wait a minute"
And when first arriving in Missouri, I heard ...
you get the idea.

On the other hand, we're about to move into four or five months when the forecast rarely changes: "Mid- to upper 90s and humid, with 20-30 percent chance of afternoon and evening thundershowers."

Actually, I've got my own saying:

"If you don't like the weather, go live on the moon."

Not the nicest thing to say, but complaining about the weather (IMO) is equivalent to complaining about the earth spinning.

OTOH, if it IS the case that chemtrails, the burning of fossil fuels, etc., are changing our climate/weather in a way not in accordance with nature, then what we'll actually begin to experience is natures' way of bringing everything back into balance. It'll then be up to us to either deal with it or figure out what we're doing wrong and stop it.

Cheers to all (and hang in there!),

But you forget, the saying here in Arizona is " But it's a dry heat "
........ That pretty much describes the weather for 5 - 6 months of the
year.

When I was there in November, I could go up and down steps like a

Funny you should mention that! Our local weather man just did one of his
mini-weather classes on that last night. Long contrails are cause by high
humidity in the atmosphere. The longer and thicker they are, the higher the
humidity is at high altitudes.

I don't buy this. Two weeks ago we were
having spectacular weather-80ûF and very low
humidities (under 20%) and we had 3 days
where all the local weather prophets
predicted clear cloudless skies as there was
not enough humidity in the upper or lower
atmosheres forany cloud formation. By 2 pm on
2 of the 3 days we had complete cloud cover
by 2pm and the clouds were all from chem
trails (I watched the formations happen as I
worked in the gardens) I want to know how
contrails developed when there was not enough
humidity in the atmosphere.

And even if there is no such thing as chem
trails (and this is the military's story and
we all know they have never lied about
anything) there are contrsils that are
developing into clouds which means our albedo
is going up and that means less sunlight to
the earth's surface and heat being reflected
back to space.

So it is probably safe to say commercial and
military jets are profoundly changing our
weather because of all the artificial clouds
they make. it would just make matter worse if
some of these clouds happen to contain some
quite nasty manmade and distibuted chemicals
as well

Lucy

As for the weather being weird right now, this is pretty normal. It has been

trees have been tracking these cycles for years. You name it, and "this too

Global warming - which is demonstrably true - is causing and
will increasingly cause more erratic weather: more storms,
more frequent storms, and the weather will be more erratic
in general.

Scientists, oil-company executives, and everyone in general
still argues about the CAUSE of global warming, but I do not
think that there is the slightest disagreement about the
FACT of global warming.

So - maybe it's cyclical (I don't believe it, I believe it's
man-influenced at the least, but maybe...)

In the really long terms, hundreds of years from now or
thousands of years from now, maybe it will swing back again.
Most of us, though, are worried about a shorter term than
that: the next 50 or 100 years at most.
