A company in Iowa manufactures small research plot harvesters/combines.
Their website is www.almaco.com . I'm sure their prices will be very high
but it illiustrates that small ones can be made in USA. Perhaps there are
some competitors out there. I've seen agronomists use small walk-behind
types that harvest one row at a time. I'll see if I can learn more from one
of them.
