Bev, Glad to hear the good news. I haven't commented on your
questions about pain management. Wish I had some miracle cure, but
now such luck.

I know...luckily, my pain now is not too bad, but it does interrupt my sleep, especially my ability to get comfortable enough to go to sleep. while my shoulders hurt, it is not like rotator cuff pain...more like a dull, old injury, broken bone kind of pain...and there is no relief from it so it really wears you down. I've been trying to meditate outdoors in the sunshine, but meditating at night is difficult. I actually have a prescription med for chronic pain(tramadol), but I don't like to take it unless I am really, really hurting-I don't trust them when they say it is non-addictive.

We
had talked before about my wife's arthritis, or did I ever answer you
kind email? I believe than you had rheumatoid A. and had some
solution for that. If I understood correctly you know have some
osteo A?

I have both, RA causes most of the problems, but recently have started having more OA pain, mostly I think from overuse of an already inflamed joint. You know me, I have trouble taking it easy<G>

She has severe Osteo, so much bone loose that her knees
don't even show up on ex rays. Only saying this to point out that
she wishes she could have kept up exercises and leg activity even
though it was painful. I would I could say this in a more positive
way, but it may be that exercising through the pain will be the only
way to keep going. I certainly hope that will never get that bad for
you. A big hug. Van Dell

Thanks Van Dell. I'm sorry about your wife's knees. Can she not have a knee replacement?
