Someone mentioned needing to replace the pressure tank for their well...
Sometimes you can get a little more life out of them by removing the plastic
cap on the top and adding some air to the bladder. It has a schrader valve
so a bicycle pump will fit. The pressure should be about 2lbs below your
pump "cut-in" pressure.
If you have to replace it, try to locate it in the house or under the house-
somewhere protected from the elements and it will last longer. It can be
anywhere on the cold water side of your system- there's no rule saying it
has to be outside in the wellhouse or under one of those ridiculous
"well-rock" things.
