Good to read of your plantings, Bev! Someone gave me two colors of
broom corn, sorghum is grown all around here, and i've that pretty
Black Millet and Sunflowers for the flying critters.

What I have is a rainbow and a red, I think. I don't have millet, but
would like to have that. I am thinking of planting some buckwheat as
well, again, for the chickens and of course for the soil. I am going to
plant stuff like the sorghum and sunflowers right next to the chicken
moat, so that when heads bow, I can just bend them over the interior
fence and allow them to drop into the moat, or allow the chickens to
jump up and grab them, whichever. A hanging head of sunflower seeds is
like a Poultry Pinata. (sorry, no tilde in my email that I can figure
out how to use)
