On the way to town today I stopped to look at some property I heard was for sale. I only walked along the road because I had shorts on and two thoughts kept coming to mind, snakes and bugs.

Like I said in the journal, I did not get a picture of the tree going down because I was running for shelter, where ever that may have been. Look at my journal for yesterday for the whole story.

A friend with considerable experience pushing over trees said that they always fall down hill, no matter what your intent.

Lookout Don...Gene has a mean streak... :)

So far I have as many parts now as when I arrived a month ago. I have anointed his backhoe a couple of times but I always leave a little blood on every project. My mother keeps telling me it is a good thing I have a large supply.

Don & Gene,

I'm awfully glad you fellas haven't kilt yourselves yet while playing
with the big toys.

I am planning a trip to Eureka Springs in early-mid September and
would love to stop by and observe male primates at play. Are you up
for company or are you having too much fun as is?

Marie
